Aileen Lugo, 25, of New Britain, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. Born in Puerto Rico, she was a New Britain resident since 1996.
Surviving are two children, Dayna Eatmon and Dayleen Eatmon, both of New Britain; her mother, Enid Mercado of Florida; her father and step-mother, Heriberto and Eunice Lugo of West Hartford; two sisters, Jomara Lopez and Diana Lugo, both of New Britain; two brothers, Heriberto Lugo Jr. of New Britain and Jose Lugo of West Hartford; a cousin, Maria Echevarria of New Britain; her best friends, Yensid Santizo and Michelle Andino; and her boyfriend, Joshua Ortiz.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 7-9 PM.
